On the 18Th of May, many of our customers responded to our invitation to the official opening of the new Drive Technology Center, which is situated in Vaulx-Milieu (near Lyon).
Part of the 133 customers travelled great distances to share this moment with us. It has been a day rich in encounters and exchanges between customers, their contact people from SEW-USOCOME and all the invited partners.
In addition to the traditional ribbon-cutting ceremony, this particular day was marked by guided tours of the new DTC and animations, but also by the statements of Mr. Jean-Claude Reverdell, managing director SEW-USOCOME, of the Member of Parliament representing the 10th district of the French department Isère and the statements of other regional and local officials.
It is not without pride that the 19 technicians and sales staff working in the DTC presented and showed their organization, the means they dispose of and the know-how of this brand new fast assembly unit and service center.
Specific goals of the new Drive Technology Center in Vaulx-Milieu are the assembly of gear units from sizes 87 to 167 and assembly of motors from sizes 63 to 280. Furthermore, it is Competence service center in France for the industrial gears.
All comments received concerning the professional approach, the commitment, the availability and the good mood in our new Drive Technology Center were extremely positive.
A nice weather and a great caterer have also contributed to making this day a real success.
