Protection of personnel is an important aspect of warehouse logistics. The integrated safety technology of our automation solutions for SRSs meets the tougher system safety requirements of the type C standard EN 528:

  • Setup mode
    If people are carrying out troubleshooting or maintenance work in aisles, it is still possible to move a storage/retrieval system using the Safely Limited Position (SLP) function.
  • Safe end of the aisle
    We offer flexible solutions to ensure storage/retrieval systems stop safely at the end of the aisle, removing the need for a hydraulic buffer or other mechanical sensors along the route. You always benefit from the same very short response time, regardless of how many safety functions are activated. That gives you planning certainty and results in very short safety distances. The safety technology integrated into the inverter makes the functional safety acceptance test at the end of startup much more straightforward.
